Making fans of Japan

Tokyo Restaurants Factory is a company which manages more than 60 restaurants inside and outside Japan, under the mission of “Making fans of Japan”.
We have several luxury Japanese “Washoku” restaurants such as:
“Toriko” where we recommend “luxury yakitori × wine from all over the world”.
“Nurukan Sato” where you can try the new idea of “Japanese Sake at different temperatures”.
We manage a wide range of restaurants from those in the Michelin guide to the local, casual restaurant. We adapts our business according to the area market and have thus developed several brands that are now welcoming customers from all over the world.

Our goal is to make people all over the world fans of Japan, by introducing “JAPAN QUALITY” which contains famous Japanese values such as: “Strong performances of Craftsmanship”, “Sharpened aesthetic values” and “Deep consideration of others”

With the cooperation of all employees and our constant desire to provide the best quality and reach new goals, we are sure to achieve our goal.

Beside our already existing businesses, Tokyo Restaurants Factory are able to open and manage unique restaurant that meets the needs of the area markets and any requests from our cooperating business partners.

In addition, we are able to not only use chefs from our already existing restaurants, but we are also able to present Japanese chefs suitable for each type of cuisine.

Because we create our business in accordance to that specific area markets’ needs, Tokyo Restaurants Factory are able to manage a wide range of restaurants.
Our businesses ranges from Michelin to casual restaurants. With our business category and product development, we would be able to open new restaurants.

History 01 / Foundation

Started with luxury “Washoku” restaurants in Roppongi and Ginza

Tokyo Restaurant Factory started with opening luxury “Washoku” restaurants in Roppongi and Ginza. At these restaurants the talented chefs would present delicate and refined tastes and dishes suitable for the Japanese season.

History 02 / Growth

Advancing to make
fans of Japan

With the opening of “Toriko” and the slogan of “Luxury yakitori × wine from all over the world”, the world of yakitori expanded, and with “Nurukan Sato” a new experience of “Japanese Sake at various temperatures” was presented. In addition to these two brands, we have developed several restaurants where the customer can enjoy and experience Japan, both in Tokyo and Osaka.

History 03 / Mission

A diverse project: to introduce “JAPAN QUALITY” to the world

2015 - “Jidai 1931” opened in Taiwan
2017 - “MIFUNE New York”, “sushi AMANE” opened in New York simultaneously.
“sushi AMANE” received a Michelin star the same year - the fastest in New York’s history
2018 - “Toriko New York” opened in New York
We are opening many restaurants worldwide where everyone can experience “JAPAN QUALITY”.

History 04 / Future

Making people all over the world fans of Japan and become a true global company

Since “Washoku” got registered in UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, the world has started to pay close attention to the Japanese food culture as well as Japanese hospitality.
Using New York as our main, we are planning worldwide openings of our restaurants. We are aiming to bring chefs from Japan who can provide true “JAPAN QUALITY” on site which will help us grow and develop Japanese restaurants all over the world.

2003  -“Onzoushi Kiyoyasu House” and “Ginkuma Saryou” opened in Roppongi and Ginza, Tokyo - the start of Tokyo Restaurants Factory
2011  -Main brands “Toriko” and “Nurukan Sato” opened in Tokyo
2016  -“Toriko” and “Nurukan Sato” opened outside of Tokyo
2017  -“MIFUNE” and “sushi AMANE” opened simultaneously in New York
Moreover, “sushi AMANE” received a Michelin star the same year, making it the fastest restaurant to do so since opening, in New York history
2018  -Toriko New York” opened in New York
